More specific Freedom Village updates to come later this month but for now Ryan and I are excited to share something new we’ve been quietly building: a community events calendar for the Freedom Village orbit, which we’re calling Outpost NH.
Think of Outpost NH events as a way to meet other builders and folks who are curious about what Freedom Village will eventually become.We’re hosting the kinds of gatherings we believe make life (and building) better — time spent together, shared work, real conversations, and a little adventure mixed in. You’re invited not only to join events, but also to add and host your own.

First Up: Ice Skating at Strawberry Banke, Sat Jan 3 ❄️⛸️🍝
Our first social outing is this Saturday — a casual ice skating meetup at Strawberry Banke. Low pressure, high charm. Come say hi, skate a bit, and warm up with friends afterward over dinner at The Rosa.
Weekly: Open Build — every Thursday starting Jan 8 ☕️💻🪴
Beginning next week (January 8th), we’re launching weekly Open Build sessions every Thursday from 2pm till late.
Open Build is our recurring co-working + hack session — a place to show up, work on what matters to you, and soak in builder energy.
The vibe:
Lo-fi beats
Laptops open
Good drinks on hand
Takeout ordered
Zero pressure
Come jam on what you’re building, vibecode, learn a new skill, or get feedback if you want it. Or just sit quietly and make progress.
Designed for:After-work late-night tinkers, weekend warriors, and anyone who builds better around other curious people.
Flow:
2:00 pm — Arrive anytime to co-work
4:00 pm — Music on, optional tea/coffee break
6:00 pm — We’ll order takeout and keep building & vibing into the night
Drop in anytime. Stay as long as you like.
The cadence we’re building
Our goal is to create a simple, reliable rhythm:
Weekly Open Build sessions on Thursdays
On months when there is a larger NH Builders meetup hosted by TJ, Jack, and Dylan, Open Build naturally rolls into that.
Coincides with Zack’s CoFlo monthly co-working session nearby at Treeline Outfitters — come to ours before or after.
Monthly outings and excursionsIce skating, hiking, gun range trips, and other adventures (think boy scouts for grownups!)
In many ways, this is us prototyping the kinds of rhythms and activities we hope will one day be core to the Freedom Village neighborhood itself — work, play, and community woven together.
Why Thursdays?
Thursdays already have momentum in the Seacoast builder world (CoFlo, Seacoast Builders, and others). By hosting Open Build weekly on the same day, we’re helping establish a simple mental model:
Thursday is for builders.
Sometimes that means a big meetup. Sometimes it’s a relaxed build session. Either way, you know where to be.
